Some iPhone X turned out to be faster than others. During the test, the maximum speed of the iPhone X with the Intel chip in AT T networks was 30.31 Mbps, then like with a Qualcomm chip – 27.47 Mbps. Using the services of the T-Mobile operator, the gap was even more tangible: 33.32 Mbit / s – Intel, 26.54 Mbit / s – Qualcomm.

Differences in LTE frequency bands in different countries force Apple to use by production iPhone modems from different suppliers. For copies intended for sale on the territory of Russia, Intel chips are used, while for American models – Qualcomm.

Completing the iPhone with different LTE chips also leads to difficulties in repairing American models in Russia and vice versa. As AppleInsider.ru found out, the difficulties are dictated by a different arrangement of internal components and, as a result, mismatched display lines.
