ARKit technologies find more and more unusual applications, although they may not always be useful in real life. So, one of the Japanese developers created an application with which you can make a face invisible, masking it as objects around.

img The developer published the results of testing his application as a video on the social network Twitter. With the help of augmented reality, his face became literally “transparent”, only his eyes and mouth were visible.

It is not yet clear whether this application works with all surrounding objects, or the developer has customized it specifically for a room in his house. There is no program in the App Store yet – soon the creator is going to send it to the store moderators.

The ARKit toolkit presented to developers at the WWDC 2017 conference is a new look at the technology of augmented reality. The development is able to recognize the dimensions of the surrounding space and take into account the lighting conditions in order to most effectively integrate virtual objects into real life.
